Top 3 Glamping Birthday Party Ideas Of 2020
I recently celebrated my 30th birthday earlier this summer. Amid COVID it’s been a challenge to think of safe ways to get together with friends and family, especially to celebrate milestones.
I didn’t want to miss out on celebrating my birthday with my favorite people so we came up with the idea to go glamping a Collective Retreats, a few hours outside of Denver. It was a safe way to get everyone together while still social distancing. The tents were well spread out, the campground was constantly cleaned, the staff followed all the guidelines to keep their staff safe - wearing masks and gloves, etc, and all in all it was so fun to be in the middle of nowhere distanced and celebrating! Glamping is SUCH a fun way to celebrate a birthday! It’s relaxing, carefree and nice that everyone can have their own agenda throughout the weekend.
Here are Glamping Birthday Party Ideas to create the perfect glamping getaway for your birthday or any event!
PS - Pictures of some vital glamping supplies, as well as my own trip are below the article
Gift Bags with the essentials - it’s so fun to have a little gift bag waiting for guests when they check in! I put together these bags filled with all the glamping “essentials” that you may need. Hand, Device and Face WIPEYS were a must. Everyone loved having a Face WIPEY to refresh after hiking! Reusable wine cups along with 90+ Cellars rose - because everyone needs wine while glamping! I also added a WIPEYS Jetpack bag filled with not just WIPEYS, but Patchology eye gels and bug spray. I also added custom cookies by Sugar Bloom Cookies that were such a fun treat in addition to Kettlehead popcorn and Sugarfina green juice gummies!
Have just dinners planned - I wanted everyone to feel like this was their vacation too (especially having been in lockdown the months prior). The only thing I planned out for the weekend was dinners. I love Vail Collective Retreats because they do an amazing job helping plan for larger groups, and make the weekend special. On the first night we pre-ordered food for a BBQ night where we all grilled up pre-made burgers, fish and steaks. They tended the bar for us and had delicious sides to go with everything. Afterwards we sat by the campfire and made s’mores! On the last night Vail Collective Retreats put together an intimate birthday dinner - farm to table food - for our group. It felt SO special and was such an amazing experience - let alone, the food was delicious!
Pre-book the tents - When I reached out to Vail Collective Retreats after knowing who would be joining us for the weekend they allowed me to pre-book all the tents so we were all together in one space. This made it feel like an adult summer camp! All the tents are equipped with beds, coolers for your food and drinks, lighting, charging stations and easy access to restrooms. The paths around the campsite were well lit so you could easily go from one friends tent to the other. It was truly a magical experience and the best way to celebrate a birthday!
